Making photos can be simple or complicated, depending on the equipment choosen. In addition next to the camera, I had to learn the post treatment, what software to use in order to manage thousands of photos. It might be the problem with digital photography : we tend to take many photos. Then all of them must be classified in ordre to be found again later on.
Taking pictures, learning post treatment and workflow is not all, because, as many photographers, I found it a good idea to show my work. In order to do so, I decided to built some website, tried few solutions and could see that the Internet is a huge univers, where it's really hard to get known.
But I find it challenging and I carry on that way, until maybe one day it works. It's a nice challenge, but I take is really for the pleasure to create something online and maybe to give some pleasure, ideas to anyone who takes time to see my work.
The aim of this site is firstly to present some of the pictures I took. Secondly, I will write about all the tries I had to find the equipment I have today (hardware and software). It was difficult to find the post treatment program which suit the best my way of working. It was hard to find out which HDR program to use. Then I tried a lot of them until I was really satisfied with all my equipment. Today, its the case, I think I can get now a stable workflow, but we never know... All is changing so fast that nearly every month there is something new that could be used in the workflow.
When I travel, it is the opportunity to make pictures of very new things. Since 2005, I had the chance to travel to some european coutries and to Canada. I will show some of the pictures taken in these countries, all will be classied by coutries and areas in countries. You will find some slideshows and some pages with photos just presented like this like in an album. Just click on the thumbnail and you will see a bigger photo.
I try to stay with natural colors, as near as I can from what I saw. Pushing colors and post treatment in general give sometimes amazing photos, but they are never like what you can see in real. It is a choice, at the moment I find that photos have to keep records of what we can see around us. I find particularly important to make this work because we are not sure how long what we can see today will still be so for the futur generations.
